We met on a night out in Baltimore, MD. Our friend groups each convinced us to go to a house party at a school, University of Maryland Baltimore County, a school neither one of us went to. At that party, we found each other and spent the rest of the night talking and laughing. Not much has changed in the last 6 years of dating. We laugh more and more everyday and are constantly reminded that we never would've met if Daria Edwards didn't convince Shelby to not rewatch the Harry Potter marathon that was on.

Christian planned a heartfelt proposal for Shelby at a picnic in downtown New Bern, NC, overlooking the waterfront park. As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became more romantic, leading Christian to finally pop the question. Shelby was overjoyed with his proposal, but her happiness reached new heights when Christian surprised her with a gathering at a restaurant, where her family and both their friends were waiting to celebrate their engagement together. It was a truly unforgettable and joyous moment for both of them. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Raleigh!
