We are currently moving forward with the wedding on July 10, 2021 consistent with the details that you will see in our wedding website. If there are any changes required, we will be sure to communicate directly with you. We are planning to hold our wedding as restriction-free as our venue will allow. We understand not everyone may be comfortable attending. If you choose not to attend, we know you will celebrate with us from afar.
Black Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please note that the country club has a strictly enforced dress code. Collared shirts are required for men and denim is not allowed. Jackets and ties are strongly encouraged.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests outside those specifically listed on the invitation. The country club has limited seating. Please restrict the attendees in your party to only those specifically listed on your invitation.
There are two options for parking. You can choose to use the valet parking available at the front door or you can park in the lot to the left of the country club when you arrive.
There are no formal arrangements set up to transport our guests between the hotel and the ceremony or reception. However, the hotels are conveniently located 5 miles from the country club. There is an open bar, so please feel free to Uber both ways to the reception or to just grab an Uber home. The country club has informed us that it is okay to leave your car there overnight if needed.
Check our "Things to Do" page for some recommendations of how to fill your time! Don't worry - we promise our reception will be worth the wait!
We appreciate that you may want to take your own photos/videos during our ceremony, but we have hired a professional photographer and videographer and would greatly appreciate that you refrain from taking cell phone photos/videos during our ceremony. With that said, please feel free to snap away at the reception and post to social media with the hashtag #HodgesFirstDancz so that we can view them later!
Absolutely! Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30, starting the night off right by opening the bar and serving a selection of hors d'oeuvres. We will have dinner later in the night, followed by dessert. After dinner, there will be time for drinking, dancing, and celebration, but don't go anywhere, as we will also be serving another late night snack before the party ends! If you have any dietary restrictions, please communicate them to jndancz@gmail.com.
