Evan and Laura met " the modern way" - both swiped right on Hinge in October of 2020. The last couple of years have been filled with a lot of traveling together, countless concerts, loving on their Silver Lab, Maggie Mae, and fishing and enjoying time on the water on High Rock Lake.

Evan proposed to Laura at Childress Vineyards this past fall. Although Laura is almost impossible to surprise, he pulled it off! What was to be a family lunch turned into a sweet afternoon with a surprise proposal overlooking the vineyard.
