Some people may say you can't find love in a bar, but a bar is where our story begins. Caitlyn was out with her friend, Theresa, when she brushed up against a guy whose profile had a striking resemblance to Noah Wylie (Dr. Carter from ER hubba, hubba). As they moved farther into the bar she continued to look back (some may say stare) at this guy. His friend, Tim, took notice and mentioned to Anthony that this girl kept looking their way. Anthony approached Caitlyn and the rest is history.
It was the last night of their 10 day stay-cation. Caitlyn was on the couch yelling at the TV because Notre Dame was letting Louisville run through their defensive line and right into the end zone. Anthony called to her from the Kitchen to come see how cute their beloved cat, Pred, was being. As she walked into the kitchen, Anthony picked Pred up and Caitlyn could see she was wearing a collar and there was something hanging from it. She proceeded to ask if he was kidding (roughly twelve times). Then Anthony asked Caitlyn if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She more or less said, "yes" (we think). And in case you were wondering, Notre Dame won the game 35-17.
On November 14, 2020, Caitlyn plugged in a space heater to warm up a room in their airbnb they had chosen to get married in due to a global pandemic. Five minutes after plugging in that space heater, the power went out in the house. Looking back now, that is pretty funny, but the day of, it was not so funny. After 2 hours of trying to get a hold of the owners, searching for a circuit box, and some slight crying under the covers, the owners called and let the group know how to turn the power back on. At 2 PM, Anthony and Caitlyn exchanged personally written vows in front of a small group of family and friends at the Kester Homestead, in Memphis, New York (in a wonderfully lit room). It was the most perfect day.
