Garden party chic! Anything a step below business neat is welcome. Make sure to dress for the weather: late May in Charleston can fluctuate from the high 70s to the low 90s and is often quite humid.

Absolutely! Everybody invited has a plus one.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have booked a hotel block that will be where our venue bus will make its pick-ups and drop-offs. Go to the Travel page for more details!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have a free shuttle between the Comfort Inn Downtown Charleston (our hotel block, see Travel page) to The Island House (our venue). The shuttle will seat 50 people. To the Venue: The bus departs the Comfort Inn (144 Bee St) at 5:00 pm, arriving at the venue at 5:35pm. To the Hotel: The bus will make two return trips towards the end of the festivities. The first shuttle will depart the venue at 9:30pm; the second (and last) will depart at 10:30pm. If the shuttle times do not work for you or if the shuttle is full, the venue has some parking. Uber/Lyft/taxis are also all viable options!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

You should plan to arrive at the venue by no later than 6:00pm! The shuttle will be arriving at 5:35pm. The ceremony begins at 6:15pm.
