We’ve been drinking buddies, adventure partners and best friends since 2014. Since then, we've graduated college, started our careers, traveled, moved to LA, and welcomed a fur baby, Carl. Kelvin's proposal plans fell through time and time again as COVID-19 destroyed everyone's plans for 2020. Eventually he elaborately schemed to propose with the help of Carl (their dog) and arranged for some friends to attend as a surprise. Kelvin suggested a Saturday morning park walk with Carl, and walked straight up to the overpass that overlooks the entire park with a beautiful view of DTLA. He distracted Susan by diverting her eyes to a cute dog in the distance and she turned back around with Kelvin on one knee, while friends emerged from under the overpass, holding a sign that said "Will you marry me?"
