Eugene is home to Mahlon Sweet Field (EUG), which is the local airport. It's a very small airport that offers direct flights from LAX via Alaska Airlines. The airport is about 10 minutes from town, so it is very close.
Eugene, being a huge college football town, has an abundance of hotels and stays. Additionally Eugene has a sister city named, Springfield, which is about 15 minutes from St Jude Catholic church and is also home to various hotels and stays. Whether you decide to stay Eugene or Springfield, both the winery and the church are very close to either towns.
