It all began in a conference room at the ATC Communications shop in Albion. Kaydon who is a Network Technician in the Arco office came to Albion for the annual safety meeting. Hannah who was newly hired as ATC's marketing specialist was also at the meeting. After the meeting commenced, the employees gathered to eat homemade cinnamon rolls and chili. Without ever meeting, Hannah and Kaydon serendipitously were seated right next to each other. After fifteen or so minutes without words being exchanged, Dave Perry graciously broke the ice by saying, "Hannah, have you met Kaydon?"

Hannah arrived in Mackay, where Kaydon lives, and was greeted with homemade shrimp tacos. After dinner, they took their dogs for a walk and much to Kaydon's dismay, Hannah suggested, "Let's just take a side-by-side ride tomorrow?" Kaydon convinced Hannah to take a quick ride up a canyon behind his home. "Let's get out and look at the creek?" - KB "My allergies are bad, can we just stay in the SxS?" - HM "Let's get out and look at the flowers? - KB "Oh, I can see them from here." - HM After multiple failed attempts, Kaydon finally said, "Will you get out so I can ask you to be my wife?" Hannah briskly got out of the SxS.
