Question

What is appropriate attire?

Answer

Please keep in mind the weather as ceremony is outdoors. Men: Button down shirts/collared shirt, dress pants, khakis, nice shoes. Ladies: Cocktail dress, dressy sundress, nice jumpsuit, blouse and skirt. Heels are NOT recommended. Chunky heels, wedges are fine, flats and/or kitten heels encouraged. Various ground surfaces on the property including gravel, grass, uneven floor boards, concrete/cement. What not to wear: Avoid wearing coral, peacock blue and grey/silver as those are our wedding colors. Please NO jeans, t-shirts, shorts, flip flops, baseball hats.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We are kindly asking that all kids be left at home. As much as we love the kids, we would like to keep this as an adult only event. We would love for you to treat our wedding as a date night out!

Am I allowed to take pictures with my phone/camera?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony. Our officiant will make a brief announcement before we begin. Our photographer will capture the moment, and we’ll be happy to share photos afterward.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We kindly ask that you let us know when you RSVP. For known dietary restrictions we have taken that into consideration with our menu choices. We ask that severe allergies are brought to our attention as well. We would hate to cause problems for any of our loved ones/guests.

Does your photographer allow family/couple photos to be taken?

Answer

Our photographer will be open to taking family/couple photos during the reception as long as it does not take over the chance to capture our wedding. We understand that not all families/couples have the chance to get dressed up frequently and would love a nice photo together.

Who do I address a check to?

Answer

If you are gifting us a check, we greatly appreciate it. Please address checks out to either Heather Keleman or Mac Merke. Addressing it to Heather’s new married name or jointly may delay our ability to cash the check(up to 6 months).
