We're getting married!

After several rough dates and being ghosted, I remember getting the match notification for Justin. I was skeptical and excited all at the same time. Meanwhile, Justin was in the mist of helping a friend move and had just finished lifting a heavy couch when he got the notification and reacted with, "Damn!" Let's just say he was surprised. We went on our first date at a sushi buffet and stopped to have coffee across the street afterwards. We clearly could not get enough of each other because later on I invited him to see the biggest chick flick you could imagine, La La Land, and he said he would join me for our third date in the same day. The rest is history. What makes Justin and I meeting so special is when we met each other. We would have absolutely hated each other if we had met one another at a different point in our lives. It was as if the universe had us cross paths at that exact moment knowing what lay ahead for both of us. Justin and I had our first date in January 2017. Less than 6 months later, my father was diagnosed with colon cancer and shortly after Justin's father passed unexpectedly. It was as if the universe knew we were going to need each other then and indefinitely. Also, who would have ever thought that we would have experienced a world pandemic together and not drove each other crazy, but instead had gotten that much closer. Let's just say that all things work together for good.
