Hunter and Jenna’s story started back in high school, thanks to neighboring classrooms and the fact that all of Hunter’s friends somehow ended up in Jenna’s class. That meant daily hallway encounters after class, which slowly turned into something more. Their first official date was a memorable one — seeing Jigsaw at the Marcus Cedar Creek Cinema. On November 18, 2017, Hunter made things official when he visited Jenna and asked her to be his girlfriend with her favorite jelly donut (a move that still sets the standard). They went on to attend Michigan Tech together, where they grew even closer while balancing classes, gaming together, and navigating college life side by side. On June 15, 2025, during a visit to Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Hunter got down on one knee along a beautiful trail and asked Jenna to marry him. Today, they share their home (and hearts) with their cats, Nutbag and Bugsy, and their dog, Winnifred. When they’re not cooking, baking, or gaming together, you can usually find them enjoying a Southern Comfort Old Fashion Sweet — and laughing their way through life together.
