How will I get from my hotel to the venue??

Answer

We will have a shuttle running from Avon Old Farms Hotel to the venue multiple times before and after the wedding

How will I get from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

The best option is Uber. It is approximately 15-20 minutes from Bradley to Avon Old Farms Hotel

What time will the shuttle be running?

Answer

Shuttle will be running to and from Avon Old Farms Hotel at starting at 5 pm and will run throughout the night. Just a reminder, not everyone will be able to fit on the bus at one time so please plan accordingly

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight if I’ve had a little too much?

Answer

Yes! As long as you come and get your car by noon the next day!

Can I wear heels?

Answer

Please don't! Trust us, the terrain is NOT ideal for heels. The reception area is mulched and there are ZERO paved areas in which you will be standing. It is a better idea to wear flats or wedges. Sarah does not want to tape any sprained ankles in her wedding dress

What restaurants should we go to while in town?

Answer

For breakfast/brunch: Sloppy Waffle (Bloomfield), Harvest (Simsbury), Vinted (our favorite for Sunday brunch), Effie’s Place, Barcelona, Park and Oak, Blue Plate Kitchen For lunch/dinner: head to West Hartford center! You’ll find all of our favorite places in an easily walkable location. You really can’t make a bad choice, but our top favorites include: Zohara, Max Oysters, Vinted, Balos, Avert, Treva, Barcelona, and Bar Taco For desert: Milk Craft and Icy Rolls in West Hartford Center are both amazing, creative ice cream places
