We met in Raleigh, NC at Raleigh CrossFit. Hiter was looking for a partner to compete in a local competition. Noor had just moved from California and signed up for the competition as Hiter's partner. We soon found how much we had in common and the rest was history! (And we won our first competition together!)

The families had not met yet, so we decided to schedule a weekend for the families to get together in Warm Springs, VA. Hiter had orchestrated the violinist and the perfect timing of the sun setting at the time he proposed. He asked me to come outside with him and held me; he gave the cue to the violinist; and he then began to tell me why he loved me--including how he loves how I use the dishwasher as storage. He then got on one knee and asked me to be his wife!
