We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best black-tie optional attire. Spring and summer hues are encouraged :) Please no jeans, cargo pants, shorts & avoid shades of white.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!
You can arrive at the ceremony anytime after 3:30pm, but please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 with cocktail hour to follow. Light refreshments will begin being served prior to the ceremony.
Unfortunately we will be enforcing a 21+ event, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!
Yes! There will be ample parking for both ceremony and reception on-site; however, we encourage guests to uber/lyft/rideshare from hotels to downtown. The Matthews House has been kind enough to allow cars to be parked overnight as long as they are picked up by 10am the next morning.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, a QR code can be found in multiple areas around the venue for you to share photos/videos to a our wedding album! #HitchTheHedricks
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - get ready to party!! For this reason we encourage you to Uber/Lyft/rideshare to and from the venue. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.
The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) in grass and the cocktail hour and reception with be indoors/outdoors.
