Lexy and David met during the pandemic in August of 2020 while in EMT class. If you ask David, he’ll tell you the first time he looked at Lexy, he knew he was gonna marry her. Lexy on the other hand needed convincing. David was patient and caring while he waited and befriended Lexy. They would study for EMT exams, get coffee and chat, do their ride alongs at the firehouse together, and sit in the parking lot before class quizzing each other on all the information from the prior week. David must have asked Lexy out a dozen times before she finally agreed to a date. Of course they had a bumpy start but now David and Lexy are living together with their blended family, Lexy’s son Killian and David’s twin daughters Piper and Hayden, the family dog Goose, Killian’s cats Red & YOLO and the girls fish Jack & Sally. David and Lexy still volunteer at the firehouse (not as much as they would like right now) and are now at the same station in Darlington.
