Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

You can do either! :) Do which ever feels easier to you. Two ways to RSVP: 1. Online - RSVPify 2. Text/Call your responses to the bride or groom. PLEASE RSVP BY AUGUST 23rd 2023!

Should I bring cash or a card?

Answer

There will be a few different opportunities to make a donation to the bride and groom - some traditional, some unconventional. Bring some cash if you'd like to participate in the fun! 1. Who takes the Cake - Use a dollar to place your vote for which groomsman will take some cake to the face. 2. Dollar Photo Bomb - In replace of the dollar dance, we will be doing a dollar photo bomb. Pose for a professional picture with the bride and groom before the music stops.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a few drinks to choose from at no cost to you. However, we did have to hire a bartender....Journey is fabulous and tips are always welcomed.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Yes! If you would like to bring your children, please do! However, if you would like to use our wedding as an opportunity to have a (much-deserved) date night..... we encourage that too!

Am I allowed to take photos during your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We want you to be present. We want you to feel the love and excitement of the day. And although, in this day and age, that means we pick up our phones to capture the moment.... we kindly ask that you don't. In fact, we BEG that you keep your phone on silent and away for the duration of the ceremony. We have spent thousands of dollars for a photographer to capture everything throughout our day... and we would hate to get back pictures of people holding their phones rather than their beautiful faces.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors and Outdoors! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. The reception will be both indoors and outdoors.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Approx. 3:30 PM

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will not be a big time gap between the two because they are happening in the same place. However, we will ask that you head inside to your seat once the outside ceremony is complete.

We want you to feel beautiful and comfortable, so dress in whatever way makes you feel that way.

"What color are the bridesmaids wearing? -So that I don't match them."

Answer

I can't count the number of times that this has been asked. I also can't count the number of times that I have asked this question about other people's weddings. haha! The bridesmaids will be wearing shades of green.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception ends at 10pm. There won't be an after party but there will be plenty of people camping after the wedding is over.

There will be a table with a card box on it at the reception. If cards are not your style, we get it. You can also make a donation to our honeymoon or "forever home" fund on this wedding website. Just click on the "registry" tab.

How formal is this wedding?

Answer

Remember, it's camping-themed! Nothing fancy.. just simple, rustic and full of love. This may not be the most elegant wedding you have ever been to, but it may be one of the most laid-back and fun! We do unconventional well. :)
