The Wedding Website of Amanda Lott and Tom Hixon
Meet the good lookin' guys and gals who are standing beside us on our big day!

Michelle James

Matron of Honor

Michelle and Amanda have been friends for over 7 years and even lived together for a lot of that time! Fun fact: Michelle was the first person I ever shared a room with. In college we also shared a closet, a wardrobe, and sometimes a personality. She is the soul sister I never knew I needed and she is my ride or die til the end of time. When you see her at the wedding, she'll be the one making sure you're hydrated and burning up the dance floor when we play Beyonce.

William Breaux

Best Man

Will and Tom met when they were just kids on the Southern Yacht Club sailing team. If you're around Will and me for any amount of time, you'll learn that our friendship is based on seeing who can roast each other the most. All jokes aside, Will is a loyal and caring friend that you can always count on. He's always been there for me and I'm honored to have him stand beside me as my best man. P.S. Sorry for killing the crawler that one time...iykyk

Elizabeth Dwyer

Maid of Honor

Elizabeth, aka Liz, aka Dr. Dwyer, aka Lizzy boo. My ginger twin. The Hallie Parker to my Annie James. The past 7 years of friendship have been spent not correcting people if they assume we're sisters because we are at heart. Even though she left us for the rolling hills of Austin, TX she got me good when she flew in and surprised me on the night Tom proposed. I couldn't imagine not having Liz by my side on the big day.

Jake Sutton

Groomsman

I met Jake my freshman year at Samford University and we instantly bonded over being LSU fans stuck in Bama country. Jake is the type of guy you can count on to be the sound mind in the room and is a true representation of iron sharpening iron in my life. Our friendship has only grown stronger over the years to the point where he asked me to be a groomsman in his wedding next to his brothers. He lives in NYC now and hanging out looks like hopping on the headset to play Call of Duty, but I still have the honor of him standing next to me as my groomsman on my own wedding day.

Laura Sonnier

Bridesmaid

Laura really takes the cake when it comes to friendship....see what I did there? In all seriousness, as her roommate I often benefit from Laura's baked goods, endless hot tea, exquisite fashion expertise, and Gilmore Girls marathons galore. When you receive your invitation, she most likely helped stuff and address it. She's the best and I couldn't imagine the big day without her!

Hunter Chapman

Groomsman

*NOLAPRIDE9 has joined the party* I met Hunter when Will and I were playing PlayStation one night in junior high and we've been friends ever since. Fast forward to when I transferred to LSU and we were roommates. His cooking and bartending skills are legendary - or deadly, depending on who you ask. (If he's passing out mojitos at the wedding, drink at your own risk.) Hunter is the one who always keeps us laughing and can come up with a funny nickname for anyone. We've always bonded over our love for all things fantasy football and cooking up insane 20-leg parlays. I'm honored to call him a friend and groomsman.

Bridget McIntire

Bridesmaid

Bridget and I are practically cut from the same cloth and she's like the big sister I never had. She is expecting a baby so we will have a little McNugget to snuggle on the wedding day! I am thrilled and honored that she is making the trip all the way from Denver to stand beside me on my big day. As a wedding planner herself, she's helped some of my best friends with their weddings! I couldn't imagine life - much less the wedding day - without her guidance and support!

Kevin McKee

Groomsman

When Kevin and I were 5, our families blended and our little sister Kathleen had two big brothers to pick on her. Our parents put us in sailing lessons then we spent the rest of our childhood traveling the country together competing in regattas. (He was a better sailor than me, I'll admit it.) Even though he lives in Razorbacks country now (we'll forgive him), I'm honored that he could make the trip down and be a part of our big day!

Brandee Sandusky

Bridesmaid

Brandee and I have been friends since the early days of leading our church's youth group together back in 2015. She's a loyal and fierce friend and I'm so glad to have her in my corner and standing beside me on the big day. Her two daughters Madison and Cora Jane will be preceding my walk down the aisle as my flower girls! I've watched them grow up and watched Brandee and her husband Rhett be the kind of parents I aspire to be one day. Its an honor to have the Sandusky crew a part of our big day!

JC Younger

Groomsman

High school would not have been the same without JC. We were on the basketball team together (shoutout Country Day state champs) and had all of our classes together, those poor teachers. Coach Jacques, if you're reading this - we're very sorry. If JC wasn't at my house, I was at his. JC is the type of person who never meets a stranger and cares a lot about people. If you find yourself in a conversation with him at the wedding, you'll probably come away with plans to hit the court or grab a coffee later. JC has been a dear friend and has encouraged me in my faith and walked with me through some tough times. I'm excited to have him by my side on my wedding day!

Marlee Snyder

Bridesmaid

Marlee was my church acquaintance turned coworker turned dear friend. Not just any friend but one of the best anyone could ever have. She is one of the kindest, funniest, most successful and driven people I know and we all want to grow up to be like Marlee. I just watched her marry another one of my long time friends and had a blast learning all the things from her. Let's see what shenanigans we can get into this time around...

Howie Weinstock

Groomsman

Howie and I have been friends since the 6th grade and his poor parents are probably still paying off the phone bills we racked up making prank calls together in middle school. Don't worry, we both grew out of that phase and took to sports as our favorite pastime. From football teammate to fantasy football champion and commissioner of his own league, Howie and I have always shared a love for sports (despite him being a Tulane fan). Howie is a consistent and trustworthy friend who has always been there for me when I needed him - both admirable qualities that will make him a great lawyer.

Bryan Nguyen

Groomsman

I met Bryan through mutual friends way back when we were in junior high. It's literally impossible not to love Bryan. He's an intensely loyal friend who will always be there for you when you need him. He came to my rescue once when my car broke down 30 minutes away from home. That's just the type of guy he us. He's also currently studying to become a physical therapist so if you pull a muscle on the dance floor, Bryan's your guy. So glad to have "B-Win" stand beside me as my groomsman!

Dublin

Dog of Honor

Dublin is a 3 year old Golden Retriever and the apple of our eye. Although he won't make an appearance at the wedding, if you look closely around the venue you will see little ways he nudged his way into the festivities. He had to be represented somehow!

For all the days along the way
