We’re getting married!!!

We met while at working at Thomas Slater Compassion Center in Providence, RI. He worked as the Director of Cultivation and I was the Security Guard in the building. We had mutual friends who wanted to take us out for our birthdays. Only to find out - we both have the same exact birthday on October 22nd (only he is a year older!). After that, we got to know each other more and here we are now getting married!!

During the middle of the pandemic, we started to look for a new home to grow our family and make new memories together. We found our beautiful new home in North Smithfield, RI and moved in on July 31, 2020. I told Nick that I definitely wanted to take the “basic” new homeowner photos in the front of the house. Well Nick took that as the perfect opportunity to get down on his knee. He had it all planned out and I had absolutely no idea! Of course, we were right in the middle of moving furniture (sweaty and not looking our best) when he said we should take our photos. I said “Really…right now??? We look gross!! Let us just wait till a little bit later please.” But he was very persistent and said just go clean up and change so we can take the photos “before it got dark and our family had to leave”. So, I did just that because he did have a good point. We took our family photos first with Brayden and he insisted to take one of just us two. That is when he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him!!! And, I obviously said YES!!! After it all happened, it all came together - why he kept asking me questions of when the family was coming and how he was so adamant on taking the photos at that time!
