Bo and I always laugh about how we met. He loves to tell the story about how he bought some random guy named Bob and I a drink. At the time I think he really thought this Bob dude and I were together. Not in the slightest, Bob just happen to catch me at the bar top and started a conversation. Bo and I were both at the Sand Bar that 4th of July with mutual friends celebrating the holiday. Neither one of us looking for "the one" at a bar LOL! In fact I had just left my Aunt Jackie at Hillcrest Country Club and she specifically asked if there were any special men in my life. I laughed, took a drink of my Titos and soda (D's famous drink back then), and shook my head thinking hell no! Who needed that? Certainly not I! Okay on with the story...We spoke a few words to each other the remainder of the evening and proceeded to go in different directions to watch the firework shows around town. Bo realized his lame Samsung phone was about to die so he jumped in an Uber with my friend and I. Of course instead of watching a boring firework display we all went straight for another drink in Meridian to finish off the night. It was there he and I were able to get to know each other a bit more. Talking about kids, what we loved to do, and just life in general. That hell no thought in my head was coming around to the idea of hmmm...maybe! Both went home with an exchange of phone numbers. The next day I was headed to Donnelly for the remainder of the holiday weekend and some how convinced him to join my family and I on the water, surfing. After that weekend we both knew this was it, and we have been together ever since. July 4th 2019 was an pretty incredible day to wake up with no thought in the world of meeting my future husband and then there he was. His tag line to that story is always "she dropped the B from Bob and went with Bo". From that day we have created a incredible life together, full of amazing moments as well as some very hard ones. Through all of it we have learned how to bend for the other, how to lean on the other, how to compromise, and love one another unconditionally. It has not been the easiest road but it has by far been the most beautiful one.
