Our story is an online dating success story because we met on OKCupid. We had many dates at the Pt. Fermin lighthouse in San Pedro including picnics and a little bit of Pokemon Go. Two total nerds met and fell in love. Many dates went by and we decided to take a trip to Disneyland. While on main street during the fireworks show, Scott asked me to be his girlfriend and our journey together began.

After many attempts to propose, Scott planned a getaway to Big Bear to pop the BIG question. He did his research and planned a hike to a popular overlook to propose but on the way, we got lost. What was supposed to be a 1.5-mile hike ended up being a much longer hike. We were running low on water and didn't want to risk anything, so we headed back to the hotel. Attempt #5 consisted of us taking an evening stroll to Big Bear lake. As the sun set, Scott asked Jenny to marry him. It took Jenny a few moments to realize what was actually happening but with happy tears, she said yes.
