Best Man

My name is Ben Claflin and I’m the Best Man. I’m 22 years old and enjoy long walks on the beach and buffalo chicken tenders from Culver’s but enough about me. I first met Christian riding the bus in 5th grade when I moved to mattawan. From that point on we were great friends. We used to hunt for crayfish at a nature preserve behind his house in the summers and build borderline dangerous sledding hills in the winters. We’ve grown up together and I’ve watched this man turn into the most hardworking, responsible, and dependable person I know. Now for Elise, we had been in previous classes together but I never really got to know her until our senior year in highschool when we’d all eat lunch in the library. She was a little quiet to begin with but opened up more as the year went on. I’ve really gotten to see these two grow since we’ve all graduated and she's always been very caring and supportive of Christian. I’m forever grateful for meeting these two and I hope for great things to come in their future together.

I’m Rachel, the Maid of Honor! I’ve seen Elise as a sister figure long before she became an actual sister and I grew up alongside Christian, so I’ve been around to see this love story grow from the beginning. I love to plan and prepare for events, so I’ve had wedding lists going since before Elise even said yes. I can’t wait to share this day with the Bride and Groom and make sure you all have a great time as well!

I am Sam Hitchcock and I am Elise’s older brother. I have had so many proud big brother moments the past couple years watching her grow up and become a successful woman. To see her marry the love of her life is the best gift I could ask for. Her and Christian have known each other for quite some time and watching their relationship grow and mature has been amazing. They both love each other very much I cannot wait to watch them continue to grow and build their relationship!

I have known both Elise and Christian since before they ever admitted their feelings for each other! Some of my favorite memories with Elise and Christian are our pickleball dates, time at the lake, and playing games together! I cannot wait to share this special day alongside Elise and Christian!

I’m Zach, I will be one of the groomsman. I’ve known them for multiple years now and have a lot of good memories of being around the both of them. Haven’t seen them much lately but being able to see them grow together has been awesome.
