Hetch Hetchy Reservoir
Located just 10 miles from the Evergreen Lodge. Walk across the O'Shaughnessy Dam and admire the peaks around you. If you're feeling hike-ish, there's a 5-mile out-and-back to Wapama Falls that will feel all-yours. More day hikes here: nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/hetchhetchy.htm Requires entrance into Yosemite National Park, so be sure you bring your annual pass.
Yosemite Valley
About 32 miles (60 minutes) from the Evergreen Lodge. A must for first-timers. Get there early. Feeling lazy? Drive the Valley loop at your own pace. There are plenty of places to stop, take photos and frolic in fields. Sip a cocktail in The Awahnee's Great Lounge or outdoor patio.
Glacier Point
If you've never seen this view—this is your moment. Look down on Yosemite landmarks from 3,000 above the Valley floor and miles & miles into the Yosemite Wilderness. Be prepared for windy roads. Located 34 miles (60+ minutes) from The Evergreen Lodge.
Tuolumne Meadows
The magical world of the High Sierra Nevada mountains awaits. Watch for marmots.
