While chilling in the cafe with my friends up walks Darius well he introduced himself as “Greasey”. We exchanged words and just know he didn’t leave the best impression on me! Who would have thought 3 years later we would run into each other again at the Capel? While standing outside with a group of friends he pulls up in his red chevy impala speaking to everyone in the group. However, it didn’t dawn on me that he was the same person I met 3 years prior. He asked what the nights plans were and suggested we play spades. He was my partner and of course we won! That night I had the opportunity of seeing him in a different light and I enjoyed it. We would talk every day and he even let me drive his car which he has never done with any other woman, so let’s just say he was on me “Real Bad”. Months have gone by, and things seemed to get serious, so serious that he asked me out on December 3, 2016. God knew I wanted to be loved the right way, so he sent him back to me in perfect timing!

The day was September 4, 2021. We were at Atlantic Beach to celebrate my birthday, well that’s what Asia thought. The entire trip was really for the proposal. We had just eaten dinner at some very subpar restaurant. My hands were trembling, and everybody was asking me what the plan was. I honestly didn’t know. I knew I was going to, but I didn’t know how. I really wanted to do something back at the house we had, but anybody that really knows Asia knows that once the evening is over that wig is coming off IN THE CAR lol. So I thought about it and told everyone we were going to take pictures at the pier. We got to the pier and her and my dad were walking ahead. We all stopped and I got down on my knee (in my fresh white forces…you know that’s love right there). We called them back and of course Asia was confused at first. Then she realized what was really going on and started crying. The rest is history!
