Celebrating Sarah & Kevin

Kevin and I first met back in high school, almost 10 years ago. I still remember the way Kevin looked at me when we passed each other in the hallways or ran into each other at parties in high school. Fast forward almost 10 years later, and fate had our paths cross again. I had been living in my new neighborhood for about a year and had just started taking my dog on longer walks. One day, three pitbulls came running up to my tiny dog and started sniffing her. I was nervous for her, but when I looked up to see who the owner was, I saw Kevin Davis from high school, calling the dogs back! We locked eyes, both looking very surprised to see each other. Neither of us knew what to say. I was in my pajamas with the wind blowing my hair in every direction, and I was so flustered that I just pulled my dog closer and continued walking home. I happened to be on the phone with my sister at the time, and I remember telling her that I couldn't tell if Kevin remembered me. Thankfully, he didn't let our awkward run-in be the end of our story. He messaged me later that evening, and we've been inseparable ever since. I'm so glad that we found each other again! Kevin is the love of my life, and I can't imagine my life without him <3

Kevin proposed to me on his birthday! I was so excited to take Kevin out for a fancy dinner to celebrate, because we had never dressed up for a date before. I wanted to do something special for him and I couldn't wait to see him in a suit. He was so nervous and I didn't even notice, but he kept laughing nervously and trembling slightly. I just thought he was excited about the dinner. After we got our drinks, he went to the bathroom. When he came back, he started talking about how much he loved me. He talked about how we met, how we'd been through so much together, and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. When our appetizers came out, there was a white box in the middle of mine. I looked up and saw Kevin getting down on one knee. He asked me to marry him, and I said yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives together, and we can't wait to see you all at our wedding in May!
