What time should we arrive?

Guests are welcome from 2:00 pm. The Jaan (groom’s arrival procession) begins at 2:45 pm, and everyone is invited to join in the music and dancing! After the procession, guests will make their way inside for the ceremony. 🎶💃🕺

Will there be food before the ceremony?

Yes — light refreshments will be available from 2:00 pm, so arrive a little early, enjoy a bite, and get ready to celebrate.

What should I wear?

Traditional Indian attire is encouraged. Bright colours are welcome — the more vibrant, the better for photos! ✨ We kindly ask guests to avoid red, pink, and purple, as these shades are reserved for immediate family. Thank you for helping us make the celebrations feel extra special. 💛

Here’s a glimpse of how the day will flow: 2:00 PM – Guest arrival and light refreshment at The Lakeside Suite 2:45 PM – Jaan arrival & wedding ceremony begins 5:30 PM – Canapés & family portrait in the marquee 7:45 PM – Dinner is served 10:00 PM – Celebrations conclude Everything takes place at the same venue, so you can relax and enjoy the day with us without needing to travel between locations.

Will I understand what’s happening?

Definitely! The priest will guide everyone through the rituals, and we’ll also provide a short program so you can follow along.

Is everything happening in one place?

Yes — both the wedding ceremony and the Evening Celebrations will take place at the Lakeside Suite, so you won’t need to travel between venues.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony finishes around 5:30 pm, please enjoy canapés, conversation and photos while we get ready for the Evening Celebrations. Dinner and speeches begin at 7:00 pm.
