Megan & Todd likely crossed paths at St. Charles Borromeo grade school sometime in 2006 but, they did not officially meet until 2016. Groomsman Logan Grace helped Todd work up the nerve to send Megan a heart emoji via Instagram. He quickly regretted his bold emoji choice & switched his heart emoji to a waving hand emoji. Megan saw the heart before it disappeared & remembered the cute grade school boy with the curly hair. They spent those first few weeks getting to know each other while wandering around Kansas City. Todd returned to school in Louisiana & Megan finished her last semester of nursing school at UMKC. They spent the next 5 years growing, laughing, & loving. They cannot wait to start this next journey of their lives together!

One of Megan & Todd's first dates was at Liberty Memorial. They visit often to reminisce about those first few nights of getting to know one another. Todd chose this as the proposal location & it was perfect. He set the scene with rose petals & made sure it was a complete surprise. He gathered their friends & family to celebrate afterwards at one of their favorite restaurants. It was an incredibly special day that they will never forget!
