We met just after midnight on the fourth of July. We had been chatting on a dating app (Plenty of Fish) when Hannah invited Curtis to meet her out on Park Street in Alameda. Hannah didn't expect Curtis to make the drive last minute to meet her, but thanks to Ty (Curtis' roommate), Curtis walked in shortly after midnight and found Hannah on the dance floor with her friend Shelby. After dancing and chatting, we found out that Ty and Shelby grew up in the same town in Virginia - small world! The rest was history... we have been inseparable ever since.

On our two year anniversary, Curtis was planning on taking Hannah out to dinner. Since Hannah works in the restaurant industry, he told her that he wanted to pick the location as a surprise to her. As Hannah got ready, Curtis gave her a few hints by commenting on her outfit, but Hannah did not catch on. Curtis blindfolded Hannah as they drove to the location, playing John Mayer (Hannah's favorite), and telling Hannah how much he loves her. Hannah didn't catch on, she just thought he was being sappy because of their Anniversary. When they got to the location, Curtis helped Hannah out of the car, down a flight of stairs, and over to the view deck at Cliff House in San Francisco, where Curtis' parents had their second date. Curtis asked Hannah how the view was and when Hannah turned around, he said "Well.. mine is better" and Curtis was on one knee! Hannah screamed "YES" before the question even came out of Curtis' mouth.
