What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM, please arrive no later than 3:45PM to park and find your seat. Once you arrive, please head straight to The Woodland Forest.

How does the bus transportation work?

Answer

We will be providing complimentary transportation to and from our venue. -It is a 45-minute bus ride plus loading time to Oak Hill Farm. -Please be in the hotel lobby no later than 2:40pm to use our service. -Shuttles will be loading and leaving these hotels by 2:40-2:50. Buses will pick-up at two hotels Country Inn & Suites & Ramada . Departures at night will be leaving at 9pm & 11pm.

What if I am staying at an AirBnb and want to utilize the transportation?

Buses will be picking up guests in Galena at our two hotels listed - please drive to one of the two to utilize these services

Where is the ceremony ?

Answer

The ceremony is being held at The Woodland Forest. This will be outside (weather permitting), signs will be located on the grounds to assist you in the right direction. For your awareness, this is a grassy area. Golf carts are available for individuals that need this accommodation.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is being held at The Pavilion. It is covered, and there are roll-down window walls in case of inclement weather. The Pavilion is easily heated with forced air and cooled with fans.

What happens right after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the bride and groom will be taking pictures. Guests will be directed to The School House Lawn near the reception for cocktail hour. Drinks & appetizers will be provided. For your awareness, this is a grassy area.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they’ll appear under your name when you RSVP.

Are children invited?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception. We hope parents can enjoy a date night and celebrate with us!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us. We are requesting a cocktail attire dress code. Please, no jeans.

Is there on-site parking?

Answer

Yes, there is free lighted parking. It is a gravel lot that can hold about 80 cars. Guests can leave their cars overnight (if needed), however all cars must be picked up by 11:00AM the following day. As a reminder, transportation is provided - again if using PLEASE rsvp!

Restrooms are located in the barn next to The Pavilion under the covered patio.
