Our Story
On a cold November day, Alyssa downloaded a dating app called Upward and swiped right on Bradley's profile, not sure if he would respond. 5 minutes later, her phone lit up and his name appeared on the screen with the message "Brad matched with you". We talked and talked and eventually moved from the app, to text messages and phone calls and discovered we were over an hour away from each other. The texting and calls became more frequent until we decided it was time for our first date. We first met on December 12, 2021 and we both knew that this would be our forever. On December 26th, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend and shared our first kiss. (the photo above is us on that night) For 3 years, we struggled with dating long distance. Many miles and gas were used to visit, go on dates, and spend time with one another until Bradley decided that he didn't want to do that anymore. On 1/27/24, in my childhood bedroom, Bradley asked me to marry him. And the rest is history...❤️💍
