Emerald Bay is one of the most photographed places in the country, it is a must see when visiting Lake Tahoe. From the parking lot there is a short hike down a cascading waterfall (easy to moderate) to the waters edge and the Vikingsholm Castle.

D.L. Bliss State Park is one of the best public lake access points in Tahoe. Beautiful coves, clear water, and sandy beaches.
