Kyle and Hina met at University of Wisconsin-Madison when Hina was finishing her senior year and Kyle was starting his Master's degree. At the first orchestra rehearsal, Hina was sitting in the flute section when she noticed a new cellist... In January 2015, they finally went on their first date at the (legendary) Plaza Thursday and the rest is history. That first night at the Plaza, Kyle shared his vision to create a performing arts center at Sherman's in Caroga Lake where he had started a music festival in 2012. Hina was intrigued and began helping him build Caroga Lake Music Festival, and soon after the umbrella nonprofit Caroga Arts Collective was founded. Eight years later, Caroga Arts has become the new owners of the former Sherman's Amusement Park and is in the process of developing a $4 million state-of-the-art amphitheater at Sherman's. In addition, Caroga Arts plans to build artist residencies at the former Myhill estate up the street. Sherman's has become quite the topic in Hina and Kyle's lives and they are thrilled to celebrate the beginning of their marriage with you at this special place.
