Luke and I have made so many great memories in De Leon Springs—it’s one of our favorite places to unwind and reconnect with nature. We spend most summer weekends paddle boarding through the springs or exploring the beautiful nature trails nearby. It felt only right to celebrate our next big adventure here with all of you.

Just a short drive from Whitewood Ranch, Ormond Beach has a charming Main Street full of local shops, restaurants, and coastal charm. For a fun evening out, Grind Pub is a local favorite—great for drinks, good food, and a lively atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy some local flavor during our wedding weekend!
Daytona Boardwalk
While our wedding will be at the beautiful Whitewood Ranch, Daytona Beach is the closest big town nearby for anyone looking for fun activities. From the iconic Boardwalk and oceanfront attractions to shops, restaurants, and entertainment, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some local flavor and coastal vibes during our wedding weekend.
Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach
If you’re looking to do a little shopping during the wedding weekend, Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach is a great stop. It offers a variety of popular brands and stores, perfect for picking up something special for yourself—or maybe even a last-minute wedding weekend treat!

For a little fun during the wedding weekend, PopStroke in Daytona Beach is the perfect spot! Enjoy a round of mini-golf on beautifully designed courses, grab a drink or a bite to eat at their bar, and take in the lively, fun atmosphere. It’s a great way to relax and make some memories with friends and family before or after the big day.
Ormond Beach Paddle Board/Kayak Manatee Tours
One of our favorite ways to enjoy the water is paddleboarding, and Ormond Beach is the perfect place for it! While you’re there, don’t miss a manatee tour—it’s such a special experience to see these gentle creatures up close in their natural habitat. Luke and I love being out on the water, and we know our guests will enjoy the relaxing beauty and unique wildlife of the area too.
Tomoka State Park
For guests who love nature and the outdoors, Tomoka State Park is a must-visit. It’s a beautiful spot to hike, kayak, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings along the Tomoka River. Luke and I love spending time outside, and we think it’s the perfect place to soak in Florida’s natural beauty during the wedding weekend.
Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum
A trip to the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse & Museum is a must for anyone visiting the area! While it’s a little farther from Whitewood Ranch, it’s absolutely worth the drive. This historic lighthouse offers stunning views, fascinating history, and a chance to explore Florida’s coast from above. Lighthouses have always symbolized guidance and home and since Luke proposed to me in front of a lighthouse, this spot feels especially meaningful to us. It’s the perfect place to take in the scenery and reflect on love, family, and the journey that brings us together.
