We met in 2023 at church in our young singles bible study class. We would talk and hang out in large groups but didn't think much of it. We both went country dancing with some friends from our class and danced all night long! We then had a game night at one of our friends house and were inseparable that night. Hilton walked me out to my car and finally asked me on a date. Wasn't long after a few dates that Hilton wanted to make it official. It was history from there on!

Hilton did a wonderful job at surprising me with the proposal. He got both of our bible study groups together and said we were going to do a joint activity at the park. We were supposed to wear church attire. I was a bit confused as to why we had to wear church clothes to the park. Hilton insisted he pick me up and as usual he was running late. We show up at the park and start walking to where (I thought) all of our friends were going to be and much to my surprise, there was a beautiful set up with rose petals and pictures of us ready for a proposal. My family even showed up and we went to dinner after.
