Destiny and Zach’s story began long before either of them realized it. Growing up in the same community and attending the same schools, they crossed paths for years without realizing how important they would one day become to each other. From elementary school through high school, their lives moved alongside one another. Over time, a friendship began to grow. By the spring of 2020, they found themselves spending more time together—talking for hours, sharing laughs, and creating memories that would quietly lay the foundation for something much greater. Then came their senior all-nighter. After everyone else had gone home, Destiny and Zach stayed behind, sitting by a campfire and talking until the sun came up. In those quiet early morning hours, they realized they never wanted the conversation—or their time together—to end. Zach often says, “It all started at a campfire.” On July 26, 2020, they officially became a couple. Through college, new careers, and all the changes that come with growing into adulthood, they continued building a life side by side. They celebrated milestones, supported each other through challenges, and discovered that life’s greatest adventures are even better when shared. In 2024, they reached two dreams together: welcoming their Australian Shepherd, Ruby, into their family and purchasing their first home. Their house quickly became a place filled with laughter, love, and the joy of building a future together. Then, on December 18, 2025, Zach planned a proposal Destiny would never forget. In a cozy igloo overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene, surrounded by twinkling lights and a breathtaking winter view, he asked her to marry him. She said yes. Today, Destiny and Zach are beginning their greatest adventure yet. Built on years of friendship, love, trust, and unwavering support, their relationship has grown into a partnership that feels both familiar and full of excitement. As they look forward to celebrating with family and friends, they are grateful for every moment that brought them here.
