Best Man
Tyler is Mark’s nephew/cousin/relative, but in all actuality, they’re more like brothers, and there’s a friendship book to prove it. Growing up they spent most family events together and perfected the ability to turn almost any situation into a competitive game to pass time. Although they shared some awkward growing up phases together, including listening to Dem Franchize Boyz on repeat; being angsty teens on senior year spring break; and wearing a lot of Hollister and AE, they are still close friends, sharing some fun trips to CMU, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Las Vegas. A short phone call between the two can quickly end up being over an hour. Over the years they’ve shared immeasurable belly-laughs together and Mark can’t wait to share this moment with his “Regis Live!” co-star.
Groomsman
Nick is one of Mark’s oldest friends. In middle school the two would spend hours on the house phone playing classic rock and football trivia, along with a few 3-way calls to girls to see if they liked the other. When Nick came back from Hawaii as a prep, their bond only grew stronger as the two shared some of the most important stages of the 2000s together, including popped collars, pooka shell necklaces, and picking MySpace backgrounds. Nick now lives just a few short miles from Mark in Berkley, MI (but Go Ravens), and they remain close friends, even though most nights now end at 9pm rather than 4am. #TupacIsStillAlive
Groomsman
Matt and Mark grew up together on Webster Rd. and were almost always in trouble at the same time. However, luckily for them, if the two were in trouble, their parents usually caveated that they were still able to go to the other one’s house, which was the perfect setup. Mark was there when Matt almost put his truck in the ditch within 5 minutes of getting his license and Matt was there when Mark took his ’93 Ranger over a dirt bike jump. Somehow the two haven’t run into any (serious) trouble with the law through their shenanigans over the years, but sometimes the wildest times make for the best memories, and these two have certainly shared a lot of those.
Groomsman
Mark used to bully Erik (better known as @Sarge_MSU on twitter) in high school, and he doesn’t regret that, especially after Erik set the record for the longest fumble recovery touchdown in Flint Metro League history (check the record books). The two became closer when they were two of three Clio guys at Michigan State and Erik needed someone of age to buy booze for him. This eventually turned into the two hanging out while spending boring college summers together in the 810, wishing every day that they were back in East Lansing. Today, the two are in constant communication, discussing sports, life, and music, even though Erik chooses to use Apple Music over Spotify. He might be the only guy that knows more random sports facts than Mark, so again, be sure to follow him on Twitter.
Groomsman
Pat and Mark became friends on floor 3B at Michigan State. Pat's energy was enthralling and the two eventually shared some Pink Lemonade Burnette’s and became friends. They eventually moved in together and graduated to filling up Grey Goose bottles with Smirnoff, with Mark always making sure Pat took his meds before bed and Pat always making enough noodles for the house. After those long nights at 135 Bogue, you could find Mark and Pat at the table sharing breakfast and not saying one word to one another and being completely okay with that. They reconnected in Chicago, where the long nights were less common, but still came up when a good EDM artist was in town playing a set. Mark and Pat enjoy sharing their dreams with one another, so be sure to be on the lookout for his EP, coming soon.
Groomsman
Corey and Mark became close when the two enrolled at Michigan State and took macroeconomics with Charlie Ballard together. Since then, they’ve sealed their fate by discussing Eric Legrand’s NFL combine workout; doing some laundry at Mark’s 21st birthday; and planning Project Code Red together (to be clear I did NOT plan it alone). Between these experiences and the Guys Bein’ Dudes trips to the 2017 US Open, St. Louis Mardi Gras, and Athens (“y’all go to UGA?”), Mark and Corey have shared many experiences that have produced lifelong memories, with more to come.
Groomsman
A fellow Clio All Stud, Brennon and Mark became friends when Mark said he’d have Brennon’s back in the 6th grade Clio fight heard around the world. Since that time, Mark has spent numerous nights on Sequoia Ln with the Henderson family, sharing many laughs about break-ups from waving, Mark not eating milk in his cereal, and waiting for Brennon to add every possible accessory to his #23 Baltimore Ravens running back on Madden 2004 create-a-player. Mark and Brennon share very similar styles of humor and are the only remaining fan club members of the short-lived Comedy Central tv show “Lil Bush.”
Groomsman
Justin and Mark met through mutual friends at Michigan State and have remained close since spending long nights in the garden level of Cedar Village, where you could find the two playing drinking games with a bottle of wine from Justin’s Dad in each of their hands. These days, the two are still drinking Justin’s Dad’s wine, but instead of a grimy college apartment, they’ll share some at Justin’s place in Chicago while discussing the Federal Reserve’s current policy initiatives, where Mark will definitely need to crash on the couch, especially if Justin’s on a bender.
Groomsman
Brad is Katie’s older but much less mature brother. He and Mark go way back, terrorizing Dr. P’s algebra class in high school. Mark can’t wait to tell Nolan and Emmy all the stories about their Dad from back then (when they’re old enough). Since that time, they’ve spent numerous family vacations and parties joking around, talking sports, and discussing Lavar Burton’s role in the 1977 TV miniseries “Roots.” Overall, he’s a decent guy, just don’t hire him to cut down any trees in your backyard.
Groomsman
Zack is Katie’s younger and tallest brother. Zack is known for losing backyard .22 shooting competitions to Mark (although he did hit a blackbird once) and having Colorado’s best mullet. Zack is the third member of Mark and Katie’s band, and in true Moore-family fashion, puts peanut butter on everything (especially pancakes) and loves to go gator hunting with Brad and Mark.
Maid of Honor
Lauren and Katie met during their time at Grand Valley State University, specifically while both crying before their first physiology exam. They quickly developed a friendship that led to many late nights studying and nights out. After finishing school they found themselves living in separate cities--but that didn't stop them from sharing many memories. From countless foodie experiences to annual weekend getaways it is safe to say Lauren knows Katie better than anyone. We love Lauren for her sense of adventure, loyalty, and optimism.
Maid of Honor
Dani and Katie have been the best of friends from a young age. After meeting through playing travel basketball together, the two quickly became inseparable bonding over old school rap and shopping. As they got older their friendship only became stronger--as did Dani's love for Mikes Harder Lemonade. Some of the best memories have been made on our "girls nights out" filled with laughter, dancing, and the occasional glass of wine...or two! We love Dani for her huge heart, humor, and ability to see the best in any situation!
Bridesmaid
The mother of Nolan and Emerson--need I say more?! Courtney is not only Katie's sister-in-law, but also a dear friend. Countless family vacations, ski trips, and many years and memories later she is responsible for officially making Katie an Aunt. A favorite memory is completing the 10 mile Crim together--even if it took a while! She is loved for her willingness to listen, love for her family, and kindness.
Bridesmaid
Sierra and Katie met while living in Chicago and quickly became friends. From attending concerts and music festivals and spending days at the beach, they have made countless memories. A favorite memory of Katie's is a random evening out in Wicker Park for a girls night. Sierra has a huge sense of adventure and loves to travel. She is always willing to host, coordinate, and plan events with our friends. She is loved for her optimism, loyalty, and generosity.
Bridesmaid
Danielle and Katie met while living in Chicago. Even though they were introduced through Mark & Pat's friendship, they have become closer than ever. A favorite memory is the day Pinkerton was officially adopted and they picked him up from the shelter. Danielle is the ultimate dog mom, a reading addict, and cheese lover. She is loved for her sense of humor, her love of SpongeBob memes, and her kindness.
Bridesmaid
Janelle and Katie met in Chicago through mutual friends. It wasn't until Katie came over for a barbeque at Janelle's that they really hit it off. Since then they have been closer than ever. Janelle is a lover of anything sports related and is probably the least likely person I would have expected to go to Ole Miss for undergrad. A favorite memory is renting a house for the 4th of July while spending time with friends. Janelle is loved for her loyalty, her relaxed demeanor, and kindness.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Katie grew up in the same hometown--although you wouldn't know it as they didn't become close until years later. Whether its game nights, nights out on the town, or just meeting for dinner, they always end up laughing and having a good time. A favorite memory is a trip to Vegas--or when they went to brunch and it was revealed Amanda was expecting! Amanda has an energy that brings life to any party. Amanda is loved for her loyalty, countless inside jokes, and honesty.
Bridesmaid
Sydni has been a friend for over a decade now after first meeting in middle school. Sharing a love for soccer, softball, and sports in general many summers and weekend were spend together. A favorite memory is one of the many weekends spent at MSU tailgating for football games. She is loved for her positivity, ability to make people laugh, and her determination!
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Mark's younger cousin, and is the girl who has all of the best tips if you plan to ever visit Italy! Although she is his cousin, she is more like a younger sister. One of our favorite memories is taking a trip to visit her in Italy--we had mounds of pasta, the best gelato, and the opportunity to be immersed in Italian culture. Although many miles away, Lauren and Katie have always stayed in touch and frequently are talking about the latest beauty trends and fashion. Lauren is loved for her sense of adventure, huge heart, and love for her family.
Bridesmaid
Rachelle and Katie grew up playing travel basketball together. There were many weekends spent at basketball tournaments mixed with shopping and team dinners. A favorite memory is one of the days/nights spent at Rachelle's in the summer time. Did they take a four wheeler over a dirt bike jump? Yes. Did they barely survive? Yes. Rachelle has an affinity for animals & loves music. She is loved for her humor and sense of adventure!
