Howdy Y’all! We are so excited to share a bit of our story with everyone! 

 We initially met in college at the University of Tennessee in passing. However, it wasn’t until a year later, on one fateful day at a Mexican restaurant in downtown Knoxville, when our love story began. Remembering Chelsea’s face from a year prior, Bailey reintroduced himself at the bar. As we chatted over chips and guac, a bright spark of interest was quickly formed. The next day Chelsea embarked on a cross country roadtrip and Bailey went to London for 5 weeks, but not without Chelsea’s phone number. Over the next month we corresponded via heart felt text messages.

 Longing for a first date when he returned, Bailey didn’t waste anytime asking Chelsea to go cliff jumping in a Knoxville quarry. The adventurous and spontaneous nature of this first date set the tone for the next 6 years, as we explored different states and countries together. Filling our time with exploration and adrenaline. From skiing in Rockies to dirt biking in the Mojave. In the throes of love, we were inseparable. Spending long nights chatting, sharing the intricacies of our lives with one another, we quickly came to know each other on a deep level. However, shortly after graduating college, Bailey moved to San Francisco for graduate school. 

 We dated long distance for a year and a half, as Chelsea finished college and began her first engineering internship. Once Chelsea wrapped up her internship and Bailey finished his graduate program, we were reunited in sunny San Diego.

 The opportunity for a new adventure in California, provided an excellent catalyst for growth together. As we explored new places, started new jobs, and met new friends, we were pushed and stretched to spread our wings. This journey brought us closer and closer day by day. Although it wasn’t easy moving away from the comforts of loving family and friends, we’ve built a wonderful life together in California. 

 Though life will present future challenges and bring new adventures, with a posture of love, we will continue to embrace the unknowns together.
