Broadway Avenue
This is the honkey tonk central ! If you like to party, this is a good place to start. It has live country music, lots of drinks, and fun! I would recommend wearing some comfortable shows because it is a lot of walking.
National Museum of African American Music
We went here on one of our first dates! It has interactive games, props from blues and hip hop legends, and even a faux dance & singing studio inside! We are giving it 5 stars if you like history and want to see where blues lived in Nashville!
Nashville Farmers' Market
We come here EVERY SATURDAY. Don’t be fooled… they don't just sell fruits and vegetables. They have tons of venders selling t-shirts, ceramics, and unique crafts! There is also a food court located indoors with a PLETHORA of good food. Stop here in the morning on Saturday starting at 8 am for a good time shopping and a tasty lunch!
The Parthenon
This is where we took our engagement photos! This place is warm to our hearts. We went on our first date here walking and talking next to the pond. Also, it is the location of the life size replica of The Parthenon that originally rests in Athens, Greece. It was designed as a homage to Nashville’s reputation as “The Athens of the South”..Tours begin during the weekend from Friday to Saturday 9 AM to 4:30 PM and on Sunday 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Rolled 4 Ever Ice Cream
Gavin and I went here many days to get a quick break from medical school and a sweet treat. It is proudly owned by two powerful black women from the area. They also have dairy free options!
Riddim n Spice
Located on Meharry Medical College’s actual campus, this food spot has seen our faces too many times to count! They serve haitian/jamaican goodies that always hit the spot every time! Taste our #1 favorite lunch/dinner spot and tell us what you think!
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center
This is a great tourist attraction. If you have never been here, its time to visit! This fully functional resort houses a full river and inside attractions for guests and residents of tennessee. You do not have to be staying in the hotel to visit the attractions. Simply pay for parking, go on their website, and have a blast. They have seasonal events, a river ride, and many restaurants that you can check out INSIDE the resort. Its like another world in there! Highly recommend!

Ready to get your shop on? This is the largest outlet mall in the nashville area!
Tanger Outlets Nashville
This newly opened outlet mall is located in Murfreesboro, a common metro city in Nashville. It has many high valued brands not found at Opry Mills.
