My badge wouldn’t work on my first day of work at Sierra, so I waited anxiously by my car until I saw a handsome guy with a sharp looking beard from afar. I waited, for an awkward amount of time, till he got closer to the door. He arrived to the front doors wayyy before me and saw that I was briskly walking to catch up with him. And just like me, he waited an awkward amount of time till I got closer. He opened the door for me like the sweet gentleman he is and through my embarrassed 'thank you' he followed me inside. We went on our separate ways—one to the History department, one to English, even though he thought I was a new counselor. Obviously having a crush on each other, we continued to stalk one another for four months until Trevor (found his full name by searching through the Sierra staff list) worked up the nerve to ask me out—the rest is history.
We traveled to Yachats, Oregon for a mini-vacation over Labor Day weekend. It didn't even cross my mind the reason Trevor was acting so strange was because he had a pretty big question to ask me! Before taking a sunset stroll on the coast that trailed to downtown Yachats, Trevor pulled me over to a bench and asked to take a picture (smart boy). We set up the camera and after smiling together for a couple seconds, the world stopped for a few minutes and I said 'YES’!!!!!
