We met all the way back in freshman year at the University of Memphis. We both have a passion for giving back to our community, so it is no shocker that we found ourselves involved with Up 'til Dawn, an organization that raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We still ran in mostly separate circles until the spring of our Sophomore year. Jake used to sit for hours in the study rooms of our dorm while Kayla worked on chemistry homework. He always seemed to know the how to help with the assignments without ever even taking the classes! We walked to classes together every now and then, and later that Summer we went to the movies for our first date. over 6 years later we finally get to say "I Do"!
