Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Anna Hilliard and Chris Gillett
We absolutely cannot wait for everyone to experience the beautiful island of Mallorca!! I have a lot of helpful tips to keep in mind while traveling! I can't fit everything on this page, so below is a google doc with all the info! PASSPORTS: need at least 6 months before expiring to be allowed entry into Spain *We highly recommend renting a car - but remember most cars will be manual! *Please keep in mind popular eating times in Spain - many restaurants may not open until 9 pm for dinner REMEMBER TO PACK: - passport - outlet adapter (european) - cash (in euros) (ATMs are available but expensive) - sunscreen - there are almost as many beaches in Mallorca as days of the year!

Tours By Locals

We have used ToursByLocals everywhere we have traveled and they are always amazing!! Highly recommend for anything you might want to see/do. They also have the option of booking a completely customizable tour with a private guide!

Marc Fosh Restaurant

This is our wedding caterer! He also has a Michelin Star restaurant in Palma!

Sa Foradada Restaurant

On a cliff overlooking the ocean!! But a little difficult to get to & you will need a reservation in advance! It is possible to access on foot, in an excursion of one hour down, approximately, from Son Marroig country estate. We recommend, however, accessing by sea, enjoying a beautiful boat trip from Port de Sóller. Once here, disembark at our small pier from which you can climb the restaurant through rustic stairs.

El Olivo Restaurant at the Belmond Hotel in Deia

Tasting menus of creative Mediterranean dishes, plus wine pairing, on a shaded hillside terrace.

José Luis Ferrer Vineyard

Award winning wines in the largest wine cellar on the island!

Beach Club Gran Folies

In an area overlooking the crystal clear and turquoise waters of Cala Llamp , is Beach Club Gran Folies, one of the most exclusive and oldest beach clubs in Mallorca. Located on the same rocky slope of the coast, with the Mediterranean Sea at its feet, it has different restaurant areas and hammocks to enjoy the best summer day in an incomparable setting with an exquisite atmosphere and excellent traditional and international cuisine.

Cala Deià

Cala Deia is a tiny, cove beach just outside of the much-loved mountain village of Deia. There are two restaurants on Cala Deia both offering good quality food including fish, paella, tapas and the like. One is known to be a favourite of visiting celebrities.

Ca's Patro March Restaurant in Cala Deià

Our recommendations are to book well ahead if you want to eat here and check the weather forecast for the day of your visit. Oh, and take plenty of cash: Ca's Patro March does not accept credit cards

Caves of Drach

Located on the east coast of Mallorca, more specifically in the town of Porto Cristo, these stunning caves are undoubtedly one of the island´s top tourist attractions, extending for almost 1,200 meters in length and reaching a maximum depth of 25 meters below ground level. The caves conceal a large underground lake, Lake Martel, regarded as one of the biggest underground lakes in the world.

Palma de Mallorca: Spanish Cooking Experience

Watch a local chef in action as you learn how to make the great classics of Spanish cuisine. Dive into the culinary culture of Palma de Mallorca as you enjoy a full menu and cooking demonstrations with paella, tortilla española, and mixed appetizers.

Palma de Mallorca: Old Town

A guide to the history, culture, gastronomy, shopping and life in the historic Old Town of Palma - don't forget to see Bellver Castle and The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma!

Enjoy the fantastic food at our long tables perfect for chatty hours with friends and family while taking in the breathtaking sights over the harbor of Port de Sóller.
