Do you need a park ticket to attend the welcome party and attraction mix in?

Answer

No, park tickets are not required to be able to attend either event

Where do we go once we arrive at Epcot’s park entrance for the welcome party?

Answer

All guests will meet an Event Guide at the park entrance and as a group you will be escorted to our venue. Our Event Guide will remain at the venue and will then escort our an attraction mix in upon the conclusion of the fireworks

Do you have to book on-property?

Of course not! However, if you do, please use the information on the “Travel” page to use our special code to put towards our room block

Where are the venues located?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Hotel. The ceremony will be in the Seabreeze Point and the reception will be held in St James Hall ballroom in the main hotel area.

How do we get to the locations?

Answer

For the welcome party being held at Epcot: 1. If you are staying on Disney property, we recommended using the disney transportation from your hotel. 2. If you are staying off property: We recommended paying to park in Epcot’s parking lot. For the Ceremony and Reception: 1. If you are not staying at Disney Boardwalk Inn: Good news! Parking is free for all of our guests, just say you are with our party at the guard gate. Please note- if you will not have a car you can either take an uber, a minnie car (disney’s uber) or you can reach out to me to make arrangements.

How to schedule a “Minnie Van” ride?

Answer

Minnie Van service works with the Lyft app. Simply open the Lyft app from select locations within Walt Disney World Resort to access Minnie Van service and request a ride. To request a ride: Open the Lyft app within Walt Disney World Resort and enter your destination. Confirm your pickup location. Lyft will provide a fare estimate, and your payment will be processed directly through the app. Tap “Select Minnie Van”; if Minnie Van service is not the default vehicle type displayed, you will need to scroll through your vehicle options until Minnie Van service is displayed. The app will display a map tracking the vehicle en route—along with an identifying vehicle number to help you spot your car.
