We first met at Huck’s Tavern in Roscoe Village—Kimberly bartending, Logan catching an OSU game. We kind of knew each other already (thanks, Grace Johnson!), but the week before, Kimberly noticed it was his birthday on Facebook. She mentioned it casually at the end of her shift… and when his friends asked, “Who’s that?” he said, “Don’t worry about it!” By the time she got home, he had already sent her a message. One week later, we went on our first date—and the rest is history!

Almost two years after we started dating, Logan proposed! He spent months designing the ring and plotting the perfect moment. Things didn’t go exactly as planned, but he chose to pop the question at the farm we’d just bought in January—a place that had been in his family for over 30 years. The day felt even more special because it happened to be his late grandfather’s birthday, making it a memory we’ll treasure forever!

Life on the farm is our happy place—especially with our standard poodles, Lucy and Lennon, keeping us on our toes. Logan isn’t much for binge-watching TV, but we love cozy nights in, cooking together, and just enjoying each other’s company. When we’re apart, he’s usually chasing golf balls or deer, while Kimberly off at a horse show—with him cheering her on from afar like my very own number-one fan! Someday, we hope to build our dream home on the farm, filling it with poodles, horses, minis, donkeys, and a whole lot of love!
