Hillary and Zach met the old fashioned way, on Hinge, in September of 2019. Both took a risk in attending their first date on the Chicago River knowing very little about the other, but it's safe to say Date 1 was a hit and was quickly followed by several more over the following months. These two were smitten with each other from the start - from many nights of drinks at the University Club and other Chicago hotspots, to their first trip together to New York, to Arizona and Florida and many other places in between. Things culminated in May of 2021 when, under the ruse of meeting a "long time friend from the East Coast", Zach proposed to Hillary on the Chicago River Walk (even though he was wearing socks, which totally should have given the whole thing away). The surprise continued that day when upon returning to the site of their first date, both the Austin and Nicholas families were waiting to celebrate a lifetime-to-go for Hill and Zach. Hillary and Zach have since decamped for Charleston, South Carolina, where warmer temperatures, palmetto trees and golf carts are the new normal. They can't wait to celebrate their wedding with you at the University Club, which will always hold a very special place in their hearts.
