The closest airport to our house and the venue is Boston Logan which is located in downtown Boston. For those planning to lodge in northern Massachusetts or in New Hampshire, Manchester airport is a smaller airport that is great option.

Where We Live
If you would like to stay near us, we recommend looking for hotels or Air BnBs in Weymouth, Quincy, Braintree or Hingham. We are conveniently located near the commuter rail which goes right to downtown Boston ending at South Station. From South Station you can walk to the aquarium, the Boston Tea Party Museum, or hop on a connecting train to access other parts of the city.

The Venue
This is a rural area north of Boston with the closest town being Ipswich. If you would like to stay near the venue, we recommend a hotel or Air BnB located in Ipswich, Beverly, Salem or Newburyport if you are looking for a cute little town.

Looking for something more rural with lots of nearby hiking? New Hampshire might be a great place for you to rent an Air BnB. Manchester is only 45 minutes from the venue with many smaller towns closer to the venue located near the MA/NH boarder.

Downtown Boston
If you are interested in all Boston has to offer, we recommend staying downtown. The Seaport area or Backbay are both beautiful and located near many wonderful restaurants and museums. Boston has a fantastic transit system so it is easy to get around via train and walking with an occasional Uber thrown in for bad weather.
Travel Note
Boston Transit
From the airport there are lots of options for transit. Boston is a commuter friendly city with tons of bus, subway and train options. The T is the train and the two main stations are North Station and South Station. If you plan on renting a car, just know that Boston is an old city and is not laid out in a grid format. This can be challenging if you miss an exit. When leaving the airport, you will likely have to travel through one of the many tunnels that run under Boston. GPS does not work well in the tunnels, so we recommend you have an idea of what major highway you are connecting to so you can follow signs in the tunnels.
