Hillary and I have been friends since high school and I knew our friendship would grow stronger in college, but what I didn't know at the time was how close we would actually become. After many nights of studying, late night talks, sonic runs, and movies, Hillary became more than a best friend, she became a sister. I am proud to call her my sister and so excited to stand with her as she marries her soulmate.

Hillary and I met in middle school and have been friends for almost 11 years. She’s my oldest and best friend and truly reflects that idea that friends are the family that you choose. During our many years of friendship, we have shared many things. Meals, clothes (including a softball jersey), books, car rides, favorite songs, tears, laughs, homes, teams, jobs, and maybe a few homework assignments. As an only child, sharing is something that should be difficult for me. But the truth is, it isn’t. I’ve shared the entirety of my life for the past 11 years with Hillary. She is my sister, my family, and my best friend and I am honored to add her wedding day to the list of things we’ve shared.

As Hillary's only sister she felt she deserved an important title. But as a 15 year old she felt that the responsibility should not be laid on her. Hence, the term bridesmaid of honor was born.

With Hillary I got not only a cousin, but a life long best friend. We were pretty much raised side by side. From the matching outfits, to playing school and dress up. And now we are all grown up and I get to be her bridesmaid.

We became friends in high school and lifelong friends in college. Our friendship started with musicals and Catan brings us back together. I have claimed my spot as bridesmaid through countless hours of studying together, wine nights, and many car ride discussions (and singing performances).

After 13 years as friends we’ve been through everything, including awkward phases in middle school and learning how to be “adults” during college. Our friendship started with dance-offs at sleepovers, but thrives off of car jam sessions and an undying love for Broadway musicals. I’m so excited to be by her side on this special day!

Skylar and I have a strong bond from growing up together. Even though we live far apart now, we still have kept a great connection with each other. I am very happy that he found someone that he loves and adores. I am Incredibly proud to say that he is my big brother. I love you.

Skylar and I met my first day working at Emrick’s. He was a little goofy and shy. I didn't really think much at first. After working together a while, we became close friends. Skylar has such a big heart and he would do anything for anybody if they asked. Skylar and I have known each other for a while now and he is still the same kid that I met all those years ago. He is one of my best friends. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

As the other 15 year old of the group Brandon also did not write his description. He is excited to be a part of it (Hillary is sure). Brandon earned his position as groomsman by surviving a two week vacation to the east coast with Hillary and Skylar last summer.

Skylar and I met through work. It didn't take long for me to get to know him because we all know how Skylar is. He is very talkative and friendly so it didn't take long before we became good friends.
