Chase Park Plaza Hotel
We expect hot summer weather for our wedding weekend in July, so guests at the Chase might consider cooling off during the afternoon and hanging poolside at the hotel. Enjoy food & drinks at the bar and terrace adjoining the pool area.
Gateway Arch
No visit to St. Louis would be complete without a visit to the iconic Gateway Arch, located on the banks of the Mississippi River. Take a tram ride to the top of the monument to take in a sweeping view of the city and enjoy this national park!
Forest Park
We love spending days strolling through Forest Park, just steps away from the Chase. Stretch your legs or rent a bike and see the landmarks dotted throughout the park, including the St. Louis Art Museum and Art Hill, the World's Fair Pavilion, the Jewel Box, Forest Park Golf Course, and more.
Busch Stadium
An early look at the 2022 Major League Baseball schedule shows the Phillies visiting legendary Busch Stadium to play the Cardinals over the weekend of our wedding. Ballpark Village lights up the area around the stadium, featuring lively bars & restaurants and live music.
The Delmar Loop
Check out shops, restaurants, and bars on the famous Delmar Loop! Grab a coffee at Blueprint before heading over to Vintage Vinyl to hear some tunes and thumb through crates of records. You can find just about anything you'd like to eat in the Loop, whether you're craving a taco, barbecue, falafel, or a banh mi sandwich. And don't forget to look down - the Loop is home to the St. Louis Walk of Fame, featuring presidents, musicians, writers, actors, and other notable natives of the STL.
Soulard Farmer's Market
On Saturday morning, you can take a stroll and find some breakfast at the Soulard Market, one of the oldest and largest Farmer's Markets in the United States. Enjoy a bloody mary at Julia's Market Cafe, or treat yourself to a bag of fresh baked mini donuts from Smitty's!
Missouri Botanical Garden
If you want to extend your venture beyond Forest Park, consider heading down to the newly remodeled and expanded Missouri Botanical Garden, featuring horticulture from around the world.
