Maid of Honor
Meeting for the first time in our late teens, Hillary said, “You’re going to think this is super creepy and I’m a weirdo BUT I stalked your socials and I think we are going to be really good friends.” Despite its unique and kind of awkward start, Hill knew what was up. The dynamic duo known as Brillary was born. We spent almost every day together and when the opportunity came up, got our first apartment together (shoutout casa de brillary!). Countless laughs, tears and Family Guy episodes solidified that we would always be there to hold each other's hand (and hair) through this crazy thing called life.

Hillary and Sydney met in 2004 (??? Or 05? Right??) in a middle school classroom where Sydney was volunteering as a high school student teaching an abstinence only sex ed program. They somehow got through that collective trauma and became close friends through Whitney

I met Hillary after high school, but I had known about her since we were in middle school. Our moms knew each other, and I distinctly remember looking her up on MySpace one time. Her song was “Title and Registration” by Death Cab for Cutie, which I thought was so freaking cool. Years later, we met for real when she accompanied a mutual friend to a house party I was hosting. When she came over the next night to hang out in a smaller group setting, offering me beer she had stolen from my fridge the night before, I knew we were destined to be very good friends.

We met when Hillary's brother and I started dating almost 9 years ago.

1998 in a decrepit elementary school bathroom, as Sarah left the bathroom stall, she spotted Hillary wearing the most badass white cowboy boots she'd ever seen. After complimenting Hillary's taste in footwear, Sarah didn't see Hillary again until 2006 when she had the honor of dancing and singing like a doofus alongside her long lost friend. The two bonded over having to wear hideous wigs and the fugliest shoes that ever graced this earth. They spent days rocking out to Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Panic! At the Disco, and MJ. 14 years later they're still those same silly chorus line girls whenever they're together. Fittingly enough, they are perhaps the only two people in the world who get to claim bold boots and a subpar high school musical as the roots of their beautiful friendship.

RJ and Hillary met through mutual friends. He was looking for a place to live and she jokingly offered a room in her garage and reluctantly accepted. He moved in a little bit later and the two began a beautiful friendship full of laughs, Jeopardy! Toast, and Whitney Houston. When RJ first met Mitch he made him a piece of toast and when Mitch went to the bathroom RJ whispered to Hillary, "You love that boy". He's been a rock and are so excited to have him standing next to us.

Truth be told I cannot remember which came first. We either met after Blake and Mikey mentioned these 3 new guys that all wanted to play Yugioh with us. Ben, Jay, and of course young Mitch. I still remember the night that I think Blake or you pulled Scrap Dragon at your place and that was the first film session of TVS If that’s not the first, then it would be prom your junior year.

We first met sometime in middle school. Rest in peace Sunrise. I forgot exactly what classes we had together, but I know for sure we had orchestra and P.E. I can smell the Axe body spray already. Orchestra definitely brought us closer. Having a lot of mutual friends put us in the same circle. Coincidentally, we both played soccer and video games which had us bond even more. Next thing I knew I was spending the night at his house on the weekends. The Buechler’s were like my second family; Mitch was the brother I never had. I felt home every time I was there, even to this day.

Mitch and I were connected through mutual friends in college, and ended up living together for three wild years. Those years were filled with late nights (studying or partying, you decide), self discovery, and some good old fashioned college shenanigans. Our time living together in Corvallis kick started our friendship and we’ve remained close ever since.

We met for the first time nearly five years ago when Hillary brought Mitch over to meet the family. We hit it off great and have been pals (soon to be brothers) ever since.
