When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP deadline is SEPTEMBER 28. RSVP will be on the wedding website. If you do not respond by September 28 your RSVP will be changed to a NO. If you still decide to come you will need a chair and something for dinner.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive NO LATER than 3:50 pm. There will be hot beverages available prior to the wedding beginning.

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal/Cocktail attire is preferred. Dress like you are going to a Christmas party. Please dress comfortably and something you will be warm in. Black-tie is optional. Please avoid wearing white.

Is it going to be outside? Will it be cold?

Answer

The entire wedding is planned to be outside. It will probably be cold, please dress warmly. We will have some heaters and a tent for wind protection. Yet, Southeast Georgia is very unpredictable with weather, so who knows what it will be like?

Am I able to bring my kids?

Answer

Although we would love to see them, we have limited seats available. We will ask that unless your children are to be apart of the wedding, please do not bring them.

Can I bring an additional person that was not listed on the invitation?

Answer

We have a limited number of seats, the invitation will be extended to only the people named on the invite. We will not be able to accommodate any extra guests, including children.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Parking on site will be available.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No. We ask you BYOB. If you would like to gift by assisting in stocking the bar, please let Hillary or Caity know. If you will be drinking please plan transportation ahead of time.

Will there be a place to stay at the wedding venue?

Answer

No, there are only a certain number of rooms at Open Gates and we have several people in the wedding party and our families that will be traveling and those rooms will be reserved for them.

Question

How late will the party be going?

Answer

There is a noise ordinance beginning at 11:00 pm. We will begin break down at 10:45 pm.
