One of our favorite date spots any time of year.
This is a great place to catch a beautiful view of the city and ride the incline. If you are in the area, some bars and restaurants to check out are The Summit and Shiloh Grill (both on the top of Mount Washington). Or you could take the incline down and head to Station Square and grab a drink at The Gandy Dancer inside The Grand Concourse.
Another favorite restaurant. Make sure to bring cash if you go because they don't accept cards and they don't have a phone so you can't call ahead. Get the steamed pork buns!
Located in the Cultural District this place has amazing drinks with even better food. Our favorite is the bone marrow.
Lawrenceville is another great area in Pittsburgh that has many options for food and drinks. Industry Public House has a great selection of whiskeys. Rob's favorite drink here is a Smokestack and Hillary's is the Rhuby Rhuby Rhuby. If you head here, you must get a Leona's Ice Cream Sandwich.
One of our favorite coffee shops within walking distance from Hotel Monaco. Market Square also has a number of other great restaurants.
A great diner in the heart of the Strip District and a Pittsburgh classic. This is also a cash only place.
This is within walking distance of SpringHill Suites and is one of our favorite local Mexican joints. Their house margarita is delicious!
Also within walking distance of SpringHill Suites. The Saloon is a fun neighborhood bar with great burgers and cold beer.
A great coffee shop within walking distance from SpringHill Suites.
The original Pamela's is in the Strip District but the one in Mt. Lebanon is not far from SpringHill Suites. This is a great place for breakfast. As a heads up, it's cash only here.
