We're getting MARRIED!!

Who would have thought writing your number on a payment receipt could land you a husband! I guess I sure was the lucky one Christmas Eve of 2014 a few guys came in to Blue Martini and sat at a table in my section. It was a super slow night so I was visiting with them when this blonde guy just kept blushing and smiling every time I tried to talk to him. Every time I would walk away I could hear his friends giggle and pick on him. Finally once they all closed out the checks he asked for my number and I wrote it on the receipt! And here we are 2 years later!!

Everyone knows I have been waiting for a ring! He surely caught me by surprise. My car broke so he picked me up from work and states we are going walk the trails at the Sam Houston State Park. Of course, I had been thinking about getting married all day that day and I surely let him know how I felt. After walking about 2 miles and holding his sweaty gross hands, I made the comment of how I would be happy with a twig to wrap around my finger, as I started walking faster in front of him. Once he agreed by saying OKAY! I did not hear any footsteps through the leaves so I turned around and there he was, the man of my dreams finally on one knee holding out a ring!
